Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
Sidestand switch failed. Warrantee new part handed to me - left it jumpered - can't be bothered. If you are dumb enough to ride with your stand down, you deserve to crash... WP rear shock failures - don't remember the mileage, but the third one was beginning to leak when the Showa "recall" was performed. Tank logos bubbled - tank replaced.
|
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: |
Tach Kit. X1 "Extreme" c.f. windscreen. Billet aluminum flat-track style bars. Pro-series bars when I'm in the mood. Pro-gel grips. Bar-end weights. KTM Duke II mirrors. UJM adjustable front brake lever. Re-worked stock seat - re-shaped foam, leather instead of nauga-leather. Polished '01 spec rear brake and shift linkages. Polished '99 swingarm. Polished and clear powdercoated stock wheels. Polished drive pulley. Avon Azaro "Tyres". Machined down cam cover. Custom c.f. beltguard. Custom (removed) rear fender. Re-worked plate mount. LP 'smoked' turn signals. Storz steering damper. Kawasaki adjustable clutch lever assembly. Awaiting delivery of custom made, one-off titanium dash piece - cut to match an X1 dash, but with the smaller, '97 style gauge openings.
