Nallin Stage 2 Heads, .020 forged flat top Wiseco pistons, Buell race exhaust and air cleaner, Yost jet kit 195 main,Race Kit air cleaner, pro series clip ons, earls oil line from oil pump to oil filter housing, X1 showa forks, X1 swingarm, had a Penske shock but for street use I could not really tell the difference from stock.
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
had some gear case oil puke out of the overflow tube, with the help of Badweb folks I changed the seal on the crank. No more puking. Wp forks leaking like a sive (too many wheelies), fixed WP forks then sold. Bought 2001 X1 forks from Dealer for $425 new (major improvement), Need to fix brake light switch on front brake. currently no brake lights and the part just happens to be made in Japan. The S1 eats too many tires (I actually like that)
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: |
Napolean Bar end Mirrors, Blue anodized valve stem caps, Buell Tank Bag, Millenium X1 Pegs, 1998 M2 speedo bracket used for tach. Bicycle electronic speedo ran off magnet from front wheel

Hocking Hills, Ohio {Copper Harbor, Mi any road in West Virginia} {Any eastern Tennessee roadway)
Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
YOU DON'T SEE ONE EVERYDAY AND I LIKE THE USABLE POWER. A lot of people seem to bitch about how labor intensive owning a Buell is... I actually like wrenching on mine.
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Make the XB9R & XB9S at least 1200cc or better yet 1350cc and I would buy another. Fit and finish seems to be much better now that on my S1
