Servicing Dealership: |
My own garage!
Performance Mods!: |
D&D pipe, race ECM, K&N filter with desnorkled airbox.
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
Flat tire at 2K miles. No big deal, but it made me late for my wife's birthday dinner!
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: |
Tank bra, rear pillion bag. Also added the lower pegs, which made a nice difference for long legs.
Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): |
SW Florida = 300 miles of clogged interstate with a total of 8 turns. Not exactly Buell territory. Then again, the "scenery" at the beach is pretty hot.
Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
V Twin torque!!! For me, there is no better sportbike than the XB12R.
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Water cooling so that I don't have to listen to the whirley fan at stop lights.
Life History/Philosophy: |
Former FL state MX champion, riding for Can-Am. Guess you can say I have always loved the bikes that were outside the mainstream.
Top speed on 2 wheels (mph): |
Fast enough to know better!
Preferred engine oil (brand/grade): |
HD synthetic in both bikes
