IC fogging up ? I may have a fix

Well doing a few more fixes to the bike and decided to pull the loom out as i think it has a broken cable in it.

In the mean time i have stripped down my IC, i read once that it was a sealed unit, well this is NOT the case, it does have some rubber seals but not adequate IMO.




I have put it in the airing cupboard for a couple of days, and then i will be rebuilding it with a couple of packets of silicone inside and sealing it up using some translucent silicone sealer.
