Yo, Tarzan . . . .. you'll likely get a better response if you post over in the Knowledge Vault . . . you could likely get a Jagg to fit (anything can be made to fit anything if you're flush enought {grin}, but I'm not sure why you'd want to . . .. the folks over on the XB knowledge vault seem on top of their stuff . . . . . I'm sure you'll get good S2 over there |

Belookin Glad to have ya on board! Stick around, it gets better! Saw from your profile you were looking for higher bars. You might try the S3T bars. I've got 'em on my M2 and love 'em. There were quite a few posts about it here a few weeks back, I'm sure they've all been archived by now. You might check the Knowledge Vault. |

Captainkirk Thank you for the info-I'll check into the S3T Bars. I was looking at a Stainless Steel X1 Racing Exhaust system #82000-99ya. It consists of the headers and the muffler. The box says for racing only-wondering if it would work for the street? Too Loud? Have to change ECM or Air Filter? |

Belookin. That "for race only" is just legal shit for selling stuff that won't pass EPA standards. Its on everything aftermarket, more or less. Try the question again in the Knowledge Vault section and you may get more specific feedback. I, of course, know nothing of such things. |

New guy to the site, but not to bikes. Have been obsessed since my first ride on a KD90 at age 8. Was on a big grey ship in 98 when I read an article in American Iron about an 88" Lightning. That sounded like my kinda bike. I have had several 70's, 80's era built Kaws and Suzuki's, open class moto-cross bikes, etc. Well, I after deployment, I rode my V-Max down to Biketoberfeast in Daytona, saw a Billet/Nuke blue twin tale S1W and WANTED IT. Made a trade and have been enjoying since. Recently quit riding moto-cross, got the S1W paid for, and started thinking about going BIG with it. I now sit with a stack of parts, a 100" motor and alot of homework to do. I hope by next year it is all complete. For now, I think I will put it back together with a new shock, wave rotor and some shiny bits until I can gather up everything else required to do the swap correctly. It would be fair to say I have been obsessed with this bike for the last 5 yrs.

I don't own a bike. I've only been on the back of a motorcycle a few times. That bike was driven by Ted K. If you don't know Ted he is a good guy who needs a hand. Please read the passage marked buell biker down and help. |

Hello. My wife and myself both have Buells. I've got a well worn X1 and she's got an XB12R. I run a classic racing team and bikes are what take up most of my time. (And money). Have a look at www.t20suzuki.com/t200 and www.suzuki-club.co.uk/t20racers |

Heyo from Utah. Well Hill AFB any way. Looking for some riding buddies, but gotta clear up some government red tape before I can legally ride... damn safety restrictions. Bought my '97 S1 Friday and have already had it torn apart to replace header gaskets and working on the clutch tomorrow. Gotta keep busy somehow} |

It's got 6 and some change. I found it at a new dealer & got a fair price, but they couldn't tell me too much about the motor. All they knew was that it had been worked by TLC Racing, and the guy had a dyno sheet for 112hp. Runs strong, but I want to get rid of the clunky shift mech, and I have a feeling I'll be replacing my signals quite often from the rattle. |

:0 112 hp!?!? Rear wheel?!?! I would do a dyno yourself. 112 at the rear on a streetable cyclone would be a wild ride, and a remarkable engine. The banke shifter kit and Mobil 1 Gear Oil will make your shifting problems go away. A cheaper decent alternative to the Banke setup is the updated (2002) cyclone shifter mechanism. When you are ready to put in the mobil one, pop the primary cover and see if it has the new primary chain tensioner part in there. Keep your belt tension on the loose side. Make sure you have the updated front exhaust mount (cast Y shaped piece, not flat plate). Sounds like a great bike! |

Hello from orlando, the XB9S is my second Buell after 4 years on a 1999 M2. I rode japanese manufacturers for almost 20 years before test riding the Cyclone in 1999 and bought it that first week of Bike Week from Steve O of Space Coast HD. Haven't looked back since. Put over 30K on the M2 before the trade up last year, a few less miles last year than before because we just had our first daughter. I still ride every day to work and managed one 800 mile weekend before the baby was borne in Oct. Just put on an RKA tank bag and the photos are on the RKA website. http://rka-luggage.com/pages/14gallry/02bue/model.html |

If you're talking the one in Buell accessories, I don't know, but this is my 3rd RKA bag and I've also spent about 3 years with a Chase Harper. The RKA is the perfect fit for resting my chest on when driving distance. I went X-Country on my 1989 ZX-7 a couple of times with a loaded tank bag, saddle bags etc. Finished graduate school in Miami commuting weekly from Tampa all on 2 ZX-7's. They can't fit the saddlebags yet so I have a big GOTTLIEB DRY BAG duffle bag I fill and strap on the passengers seat with webbing loops and webbing tie-downs, works good, did multiple 400 miles last Sept, with tank bag, duffle bag with camping gear, and Aeorstitch Courier Bag over my back. I guess it's a XB9S-"T", now. edited by curtyd on April 17, 2004 edited by CurtyD on April 19, 2004 |

Hello from the UK, surfin the net and discovered this site. Had my X1 for the last year covering some 2,400 miles and never smiled so much or for so long !! it's 6/50 of the 'red splash' limited edition 2001 model and drops jaws where ever it's parked. I am lucky enough to work for myself operating 3 pub/resturants in the south west of england and often meet bikers who stop to rest fill up 'red splash' always becomes the centre of attention whatever they ride when it's in the parking area. Currently running a supertrapp with a forcewinder intake filter on order to free up the breathing - it runs rich at present on std air box. if anyone is in the south west of the UK [Weston super mare] fell free to drop by and i'll stand lunch - 'e' mail me - Bob at yeoldebellinn@aol.com } |
