OK, I registered. It is a great site, with lots of useful information.

I'm MSGDLD. Still trying to decide if I'm going to be able to ride a buell over the long term. XB21Ss fit pretty good at the dealer, room to move around on seat and get some relief. Tubular bars allow some adjustment there also.

I'd still like to know more about the tube frame buells.

Bought a XB12X (black) last saturday and am now awaiting delivery within three weeks. Stumbled upon this site during "googling" for Buell.
Great site with very useful information.
I live in the Netherlands, Europe, so my english might be a little different.

Not to worry about your English. . . it's likely far better than our Netherlandian.

There are many Badwebbers in your area and we can handle any communications hurdles.

Get ready for a FUN bike and welcome!

Welcome Chinny,
The 2000 M2 is still one of the best bikes ever made, apart from its big smile factor.

Welcome LerieK,
Big contingent of Dutchies here: Almost all with our fat Dutch accent.
Nobody has ever complained about it, except when I wrote tyres i.o. tires.

Hi Fellow Buellers, Great site you have here. Am a 48yo Australian Biker who just refuses to grow up. Started around age 7 on various minis & agbikes and just kept going, mainly Hondas then Harleys, then when the Hogs couldn't corner fast enough I bought an 1100+ Kawa ex race bike. Lots of fun & fast touring for a long while. Then I found an article in a US magazine about a prototype Buell, kept reading more & more about the XB9 and figured I just gotta try one of these. Lots of overtime later, purchased my XB9R Dec.03 and still smiling.Have ridden it in all kinds of weather and some very muddy 'roads from Hell'. Erik Buell is a Wizard. There are not enough of them in Australia yet to create good aftermarket suppliers so I rely on your site to keep up to date with whats available overseas for my Buell, Its good to read feedback on different products to work out whats good etc. Cheers!

Well, finally on board with the "badweb"! I've put close to 40K on my M2 over the last 3 yrs., averaging 300-400mi. of northern Ca. twisties on the weekends (out of Santa Rosa), and lots of trips to Oregon, San Diego, LA, and, of course, Laguna Seca every year for the bike races. Being a recovering gearhead, I just got back from the Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield where I saw and heard many of the drag cars from the 60's and 70's that have been restored and actually racing again! Found some great two lane back roads through the foothills to and from the "big horse field", and spent the next two days in Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks. Anyway, sorry to go on and on first time here, but I'm sure you can all understand how the M2 is a "do it all" kind of bike. This old Pan Head, rigid frame chopper guy couldn't have a better ride! Later, "bad boys" (and girls, I hope!).

Sounds like a killer weekend, all the way down to the bike. Can't think of a better bike then an M2 or S1 to take to a hot rod show... especially where they are actually running them.

Check out the Octoberfast 2005 thread in Stormfronts Dan as you must of just missed those guys! Sadly I was working graveyards at the Kern Fair so I missed most of the Ofast ride and all of the Reunion. Welcome aboard. Sounds like you had a great time.

Thanks Reepicheep and Unibear12r for your response to my first post. This is fun! I'll check out the Octoberfast as soon as I can. I'm a tech support/product specialist here at Flowmaster exhaust, and am on the phones most of the day! It's difficult to get on the badweb until I have some space. Be back soon!
