Here are a few I can think of:

Model year changes
Proper chain adjustment (tighter than you think)
Display failures (early 2014 models) and other known issues
Recommended modifications
Aftermarket parts (performance and OEM equivalents)

Speaking of "proper chain adjustment", does anyone actually have a spec for a 44T rear sprocket? I'm almost positive mine is too loose, and it was adjusted by Action PS...

does anyone actually have a spec for a 44T rear sprocket?

Someone had posted on Facebook that they had a spec straight from EBR for the 44 tooth sprocket. I forget what the spec was. And since it was posted on Facebook, good luck finding it!

^ Brankin, is this what you remembered? It's a video showing Erik's personal bike, which I believe has a 44T rear sprocket.

I had honestly forgotten about that video. What I recall was just a typed comment in a post related to chain rubs or chain tension.

I'm pretty sure that I saved the post so that I'd have some hope of finding it later, but looking through some/most of my saved content last night I couldn't find it.

That video is pretty good info, however.

Is the one I found that works.
Couple of threads out there about modifying Harbor Freight units or ???
I had a Handy Industries one - no go. Had to balance on the pads. Not real stable.
Also a T-Rex can be made to work if you spread the arms, but IMO the weight then is not distributed straight down.

So, bit the bullet. To be honest, I already had the others, so it wasn't like I had to double $$pend

I also found that the aluminum rear stand from Harbor Freight (~$40 on sale) works fine. You may have to "tweet" it a little to get the width right, but that's easily done.
