Anyone know an easy way to get google maps routes to a Garmin 1350? I don't know why this should be so difficult in this day of technology and why you should need some 3rd party software to do it.

Because Garmin isn't Google, and neither want to help each other. : (

To get a route to really work reliably, I have only had luck with Mapsource or Basecamp, and you have to have one of the Garmins that support routes.

Its a royal pain to figure out which units those are. I posted a list a while back, but can't find it now, and it may not have been complete in the first place anyway.
