My fellow Hellbuellie brother, hosted his 2nd annual wrenching party this weekend.
DoctorDR generously served up a fabulous BBQ of chicken, burgers and sausage, provided tons of beer and margaritas.
Attendance was very good, and we had a special treat:
Roger Albert of OnRoad OffRoad Cycles and Hellbuellie Barry set up a suspension tuning workshop.
Roger is very experienced in suspension tuning for the track and street, as well as mechanical, electrical and restoration work
on British and European bikes. His web site is: http://www.ororcycle.com/
Also, Hellbuellie Wes brought his ECM spyware and adjusted the fuel injection mapping for anyone who needed it.

I learned a great deal from Roger, as I participated in the suspension workshop. He set the sag on my rear shock, which was far too low.
He adjusted the rebound and compression in the rear and front. I wondered if the front fork compression and rebound adjustments
were still valid on my forks, because I had installed a RaceTech gold valve and spring kit. Roger demonstrated that the adjusters still
worked, and set them.
The bike was transformed! Before the adjustments it felt heavy steering and reluctant to change line. I attributed it to the rear tire
being fairly worn. I was wrong. The bike now steers lightly, and the suspension is more controlled and taught. It feels like I am
on new tires! I am amazed, and I am not ever tampering with the settings.

It was a fabulous day! Many thanks to my brother Christian for making it all happen, and many thanks to all our Hellbuellies Homies that showed up!

Ahh huh, are the latest batch of patches done yet? Pretty soon I'm going to consider my contribution a donation.
