Didn't know this section was here. Last friday I got the day off. So what am I to do stay home on a beautiful day? No can't do it! I grab my gear, and my backpack with a towel, sandals and swim shorts hop on the Blast and off I go. It's about 40 miles to Padre Island from my home. I put $6.00 in fuel and head to the island. I get there pay $2.00 to get to the beach with the parking lot so I don't sink the bike in the sand. I park lock my helmet, riding jacket to the bike and hang my boots on the bars. I changed, and jumped in the Gulf of Mexico for a swim. After swimming, walking the beach, laying out and talking to some girls from Canada I had met, I was beginning to get hungry. I head to the shower rooms and change back into some pants, hop back on the Blast, take a cruise and stopped for lunch at a great restaurant for a steak and shrimp sandwich, I spent $17.00 on lunch. Then I head back home. I get home and really relaxed after a long beautiful day of riding, relaxation and $25.00 very well spent. | ||

Sounds like a great way to spend $25, and those of us in land locked states hate that... lol |
