Hello all. On July 11 2009 at 5:15am I will be going on a journey leaving Canada to head south through the USA for a seven day road trip on my new and first motorbike the 2009 XB12Scg. I assume everyone approves of my taste in motorcycles. Im going with a friend who has a BMW R1200GS and has been riding for over 20 years, lets say im Ewen and he`s Charlie..... If anyone is interested following me I have created a Facebook group called ¨Wrong Way Round¨ and you can read the blogs and look at the pics I will be posting at the end of each day. You will need to join facebook to search for my group Wrong Way Round and join the group once you find it. Hoping there will be internet connections in the motels or at least hot spots along the trip otherwise this won`t work very well. lol Thanks for your interest and encouragement in advance. Gary | ||

How did it go? For those who are Facebook-fearful (one could hardly blame you, even though I'm an enthusiast of the site), could you give a summary and post a few good shots? I'm guessing you went west/southwest? | ||

Well there was a change of plans, I never went to the USA, instead I went North East for 5 days. Total Km was 2321km Lots of nice roads and awesome scenery. The Buell ran great just a hiccup one morning after a night of rain, it was missing a bit on startup but it sorted itself out. Best gas consumption was 235km before the reserve light lit. I love this bike!!! I will post some pics.      | ||
