I had a strange weekend, I ate breakfast Sat am and did not eat till sunday am(wee hours) salad sun pm felt bad, soup supper felt ok.

still not 100%

any of you have food alergies?

I had a heart cathoder done last year, I hate needles after 5 unsuccessful attempts at putting a drip in the arm they broke me of smoking.

after a rough few days in c-bus, I refocused and dropped 3 pounds down to 234. The manual labor of moving and such helped.

Ah...have a bike wreck, go to the hospital and PT/rehab for a while. Used to be 190-195, dropped around 20lbs, down to 172 at the moment. I'm 6'4". And, the 172 includes all the titanium they put in me, lol.

Etennuly - My problem is volume of food. Been on NS now for almost 3 weeks and I'm learning. Portions that I was used to eating were like 3-4 times the amount of food that I am eating on NS. I am planning to continue with NS for 3 months since when I signed up on auto-pay they give you a free week for each of the first 3 months. Hopefully by that time I will have lost most or all of the weight I need to. My body quickly adjusted to the volume, so hopefully I will continue to eat small portions.

Just got back from the neighborhood cookout. I figured it out and looks like I ate ~1500 calories. So with my NS foods earlier in the day and this, I'm at 2279 for the day. Quite a bit more than the <1500 per day I've been doing on NS. Hopefully it won't kill my weigh in on Wed morning.

aeholton, u will likely stay the same or gain a bit, but if u get back on plan 100% and OD on water for a few days, you should drop a few pounds real quick. The extra cals "shock" your metabolism into overdrive, and will remain in overdrive for a while when the calorie intake drops again. It'll be like your first week on the program.

Looks like the Labor Day cookout didn't kill me. Another 5.1 lbs gone for a total of 16.3 in 3 weeks! Hopefully it will continue.

I go once or twice a year. Sundays don't work for me, as it is church and family time. They are very spirited rides.

Are you going to Buelltoberfest? I'm planning on riding up.

i doupt that i'll be able to go to buelltoberfest do to starting the new job on monday. i am trying to work it out that i'm packing up the rest of my stuff up in greenville that weekend so nothing is out of the question. my wife will be sticking around to train her replacement before she transfers down to tampa. hope to run into you down there none the less.

Too late for me to join? Came to the desert in May at 237, now I'm hovering around 207. It is convenient when the gym is 100 yards from your hootch and easier to make good food choices when somebody else is doing the cooking.

Sounds like you have a good start.

I have been stuck at 233 for months now. I have just stopped drinking sodas again. I must be addicted.....I just cannot find anything to drink that satisfies my thirst like an ice cold Coke. Damn caffeine headache comes with it, but that will last only a day or two. I have quit drinking sodas for a year or two at a time. It is quite funny how the first Coke will send you off with its caffeine and sugars.

Hit the 90 lbs down mark today. 321 on 4/5/08, 231 on 9/5/08. 40 more pounds to go to original goal of 190, but I think I may end up shooting for 180.

End of week 4 on NS. My daughter's 13th birthday was this past Sunday and she wanted to go to the Cheese Cake Factory for lunch. I ate a lot of food, including fried calamari, 1/2 of a huge cheeseburger, fries, and a fish taco. Later when we got home I had a piece of ice cream birthday cake. Still lost 3.3 lbs for the week!

This week I'm going to stay 100% on plan.

I'm at the point that if I drop a few more pounds thats great if not no biggie.

Losing weight can be profitable. They did a biggest loser contest at work, where each terminal assembled a team of people, and the team which lost the most weight (based on % of total weight lost) won the loot. Our team won, split $1000 six ways.

Well, we let it slip to the archives again!

After having the best of intentions of staying 100% on NS plan, I had to go spend 2 days in Orlando at an industry conference. Still worked out though, so I still saw a loss for the week. I guess I cant complain.
