Interesting M2:

Thunderbike 52

Thunderbike 53

Thunderbike 54

With that it was time to bid adieu to Thunderbike

Thunderbike 55

and head back to the MSM.

Arriving back at the MSM it is time to get a photo of me and Frank by our rides, again showing the International brotherhood of Buell:

MSM Frank and Me

And start checking out all there is to offer.
Blade Trinity bike:

Blade Trinity 2

And a detail on Frank's X1:

Including the US Silver Dollar that my Dad gave Frank when he came over for Homecoming in 2005.

Oops! I forgot to mention the adventure riding back from Thunderbike to the MSM. Since it was now sunny all the way and the roads had all dried off, we were able to have a more 'spirited' ride. The bikes are now spaced out a little more and the speeds are higher. Theough this one twisty section of road I am going 160 KM/hr and I notice a car with funny lights on top marked 'Polizei' just after I see a speed limit sign declaring the speed limit is 70 KM/hr. I slow down to 140 KM/hr (exactly TWICE the posted limit!) as I pass the Polizei, and he does - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! WOO-HOO!

Alles gut in Germany!

OK, back to the MSM...

As I mentioned before, here is more on the vendors present.
Good old authentic German bratwurst! YUM!!!

MSM 9

Cooked on an inventive grill.

MSM 10

OK, now to the more Buell related vendors:
RRC (R & R Customizing) has been a long time Buell aftermarket part supplier in Germany. And, boy, did they aver have quite the display.
Outside the RRC display was this RRC drag X1:

RRC 1

RRC 2

Inside the RRC display, it was obvious that they have lately branched off to do some custom H-D stuff, evident by this Street Rod.

RRC 4

RRC 5

RRC 6

But their main focus is still Buells. As evidenced by this fine XB12R.

Hillbilly Motors also had this wicked drag Sporty there:

H-D Osnabrueck had a couple of bikes on display.

Not exactly the right colors, bu this next one still screams Willy Wonka to me.

HSA is a longtime German builder of mufflers for Buells. It didn't hit me until I was home looking at the pictures that this is Uly with a Firebolt tail. If I would've realized when I saw it, I would've investigated further on how it was done.

Speed of Color has been doing custom Buell paint for quite a while, and their website shows they also deal with some aftermarket Buell part suppliers. They had this cool flamed XB12R on display.

To finish off the vendors, also at the Speed of Color display was this rather tame XB12S:

This vendor, which I didn't catch the name of, had a couple of wicked X1's on display.

Amazingly (believe it or not) no drinking of alcohol was involved with the following picture. It was too early in the morning for any drinking.

Frank

But it does show the fun aspect of the MSM.
The event grounds were actually a motorcycle campground and meeting place that regularly has a motorcycle flea market (swap meet).

MSM 11

So besides the people there for the MSM, there were some neat things to check out in the temporary parking lot:

MSM 12

The last thing I ever expected to see in Germany - as gas was the equivalent of $9.00 a gallon when converting liters to gallons and Euro's to Dollars at the exchange rate at the time of the trip - was a Boss Hoss:
