hi Hard Corps - we were in Michigan very, very briefly (prolly no more than 18 hours or so) towards the end of the trip. Gentleman Jim and i rode up to Big Rapids first, to pay a quick visit to FSU, then rode back down to Grand Rapids and met up with Alex Prior and Matt Ware. the planning for this aspect of the trip came together late, and was never a "for sure" thing due to Matt's brain cancer (and whether he was gonna be in GR or Detroit), plus out of respect to Matt we didn't want our visit to turn into a "circus," so i didn't advertise the fact that we were gonna be up that way. we honestly had a very small window of time in Michigan, and we spent that window with Matt, which was very cool. sorry we missed you. for anyone following along and wondering why the sudden rash of pix, and no accompanying text, Denise and i have spent the last week getting our house ready to sell, which has been pretty intense, and i've barely had time to even think, much less tell a decent story here on BADWEB. i decided to cram a bunch of photos on here as i could find the time, and i'll do my best to add captions as i can.
