Just experimenting with this presentation:

http://www.davidcohen.co.nz/vids/first.html

Beautiful spring days - 20c light nor easter.
Amazing place and roads.
Traffic is a bit heavier than normal - first day of school holidays.

You can probably understand why Buells are pretty popular here!

I drove by the peninsula this week, and made a huge mistake. I turned south. Ended up in Rotarua which was very fascinating for a tourist day at the museum. If you go there you MUST stay in The Princes Gate hotel. The hotel has a character that relaxes and the chef is a genius.

The most beautiful country in the world. The only place in the world that I want to go back to with my family.

>>Who's the music on your second track?<<

Me, my guitar, a USB mic and Apple's 'garage band' software. Great bit of kit. Played most of the synths on my computer keyboard too for all those tracks.

I was in Rotorua on Saturday and rode up the coast to the foot of the Peninsula.

Ride report is on ADV:

Great show Dave! I'd like to head your way for a M/C vacation to explore your beautiful country. Are there any M/C tour groups you would recommend, or M/C rentals that are reasonably priced. OR maybe we could just swap bikes for a week or two!!! I to have a Uly.

Pass on the bike swap - I can't keep off mine.

www.amps.co.nz are the authorised Harley rental dealer. Good folks.

I have friends at www.thunderbike.co.nz that do triumph rentals at a reasonable rate too.

The riding and scenery on the South Island is far more spectacular than the North - and the North is pretty good.

I saw a black Buell drive by me Saturday, small world if that were you. Now safely back home in New York renewing friendships with the kids and wife.

The south isle is better? You Kiwis live in heaven.

You ever jump off this thing?

630 ft/ 16 seconds of free fall

I was good to go until I looked out my hotel window and saw someone going down. They didn't appear to be having fun. Arms and legs flailing away. I chickened out.
