I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures of the Sportbikewest rally in 2001. Buell Canada was a major sponsor. Thirty some Buellers from western Canada gathered at H-D of Southern Alberta in Calgary and headed for Sicamous B.C. We all stayed at the Super 8 motel there and Buell bought us supper and a couple of pops. Here's a couple of shots taken in the parking lot at the Super 8 friday night.

Thats what a motel parking lot should look like!

This is part of the group in the parking lot at H-D of Southern Alberta. They provided lunch and snacks for us before we left. Great bunch of people!

Here's a group shot of all of us before we left to ride the west side of Okanogan Lake. Very twisty! Note to self-don't try to keep up with those fast guys!
lots of Buells

Speaking of fast guys, I tried to stay with this pair, the young lady was riding the yellow X1 and her boyfriend was on the TL1000R. Very fast pair! Scared myself a couple of times!

We stopped on the side of the road to wait for the rest of the group and 2 ambulances went back the way we came. A couple of Buellers over cooked a corner. Worst injury was a broken wrist but it sure wadded up a couple of nice Buells.

I saw this naked TL1000S at the rally site. I think Suzuki saw it too, looks like the new naked SV1000.

This shot was taken a the same stop on west side road where we saw the ambulances go by. It shows the way we came. Beautiful country.

More 8 Mile Ranch, great facility but the coarse gravel road on the way in caught a few sportbikers by surprise. There was a special tree to display broken body work.

Blake, no problem,it's always nice to have something motorcycle related to do when it's -23 outside. I'm looking at the time of your post and wondering if you ever sleep.
