Ferris, It is truely amazing the adventures my ULY has had while in your care...
Madduck, what i think is EXTRA cool is that so many people across the country got to be a part of this adventure. it deserves to be said again how much i appreciate the passion and enthusiasm of all the folks who have helped make this saga so special.

I'm betting on D myself. Altho the Bartels' crowd is good at that sort of thing too. A standard rule has always been if the weather is nice enough to clean it is also nice enough to ride. Never let cleaning interfere with riding.

a box arrived yesterday, from you, to me. i opened it this morning, and to say i was pleasantly surprised by the contents would be a major understatement.
i'm extremely touched, yet i'm tempted to refuse to accept your gift, as it seems too generous.

Jerry,
I mainly wanted you to have something truely unique for your efforts in this "epic" adventure. There was also a problem with displaying all the collectibles I've accumulated over the years. Thanks again for your effort, you went way beyond what anyone could have expected when this little adventure started.

I come from a wandering type of family. Organization and documentation, aka Ferris, has never been a priority for many genrations of Elliotts. Tried to do a family tree once, moms family was documented back to the 1300's in about a week, dads family went back three generations and wandered off. Digital cameras make things a lot easier tho and I tend to shoot a lot of pictures. Got pulled over just outside of Raton NM for photoing from a moving motorcycle. Got a picture of an Elk standing next to Elk Crossing warning sign. Cruise control on a motorcycle makes photoing a lot easier. |

I have been watching this thread for a while trying to figure out how many days I need to take off in order to get in on the start of the homeward bound journey. I have to be back at work on the coast by Monday, but I should definitely be able to do Zion before rerouting back.
So that was really an Orange Uly that Jerry was riding. Hmm. |

Bertman, you're welcome to spend the night here at the 'Dome on Madduck's way thru. you will, of course, be expected to take a lap on my Garrison and show me how it's done.
