Guys & Gals,

I wanna try to create a ride to Toronto, Ontario for July 14-16, 2003. I will be attending the 14th Atlantic Regional Rally Rally and I can be in Toronto for July 14 for an adventure.

Spidey, Char and the Northern US people are you up for the adventure.

I know its early to plan but sometimes these things take time.

Newfie,

All those HOG's in Halifax and no barbeque sauce ? What kind of a shindig is that anyhow ? What are you, Canadian or somethin ?

My time off will be concentrated around the 4th of July... Likely we will get the 2nd, 3rd and 4th off, so if I plan a trip it will probably be earlier than the middle of the month.

Also gotta save up that time off (and money) to go to Bonnie next year... so, might not work too well for me. We will see!

Gee,

I was never to Detroit before, but I met a guy from Detroit here last year at our regional HOG Rally. This guy looked like he was not off a bike for years. Nice Guy.

Now I am wondering if an overnighter in the US is actually possible.

Spidey,

I just found out that Windsor, ON is only about 4 hrs from where I will be in Ontario in July.

How far is Dearborn Hgts from Windsor?

Would it be possible to meet at the border and you can show me through Detroit to where you are?

If this is possible I will start the planning process and post my trip to see if any other Buellers in Eastern Canada/USA want to come along on my adventure or if any others want to accompany me back to Newfoundland for the Ultimate Riding Experience.

Court,

I can honestly say I have never been to the USA in my entire 32 years of existance on this earth. The closest I got was in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side about 1 year ago. Maybe if Newfoundland was connected to the mainland I would have the opportunity to do so.

Spidey,

I am already starting to plan the trip and Char & any other Buellers in the area are you up to the challenge.

Think what you like Spidey boy, you are so YOUNG wisdom will most likely not strike you until you are at least 10 years older, maybe 15 !!!

How do you like that for some condescending BS !!! ;) ;) ;)

Newfie,

Post it when you have it and maybe I will start to make some summer riding plans here.

No,

Are you taking it personal that I pick on you a lot ? It is all in FUN... in fact I may have to call you up at work just to shoot the shit...

I am sorry you have taken anything I have said personally as I have never really meant to be mean in any way shape or form... so...

If you met me you might understand I mean nothing seriously mean in my smartass way... but sometimes people think I do... but I don't

K?

Newfie,

If you're in the area lem'me know. P'rahps the Ontario Airheads could host a Barley Therapy for ya in Toronto. Before ya get too flattered, we'll hold a Barley Therapy for just about any reason....

To get an idea of a ride from Toronto to Detroit in July, imagine the topography of central Iowa combined with the ambient temps and humidity of Atlanta. Why would you ride 1.5k miles to do THAT?

Come on to Pennsylvania with the Airheads where the weather's nice in the mountains and the roads and scenery are even nicer. : )
