rolling through the hills, my lady by my side and my youngest in the back just cruising along listening to some john lee hooker. Nice countryside, turns into people bouncing it off the rev limiter, girlies with almost as much money stuffed in thier chest as they have chromed on their bikes, and just what looked like overall mayhem. After getting the Badweb passes changed over we cruised around and found a spot in the infield and went a walking, great vendors, beautiful girls, hot damn racing. I have never been to a race even remotely close to this so it is all a new experience. The midway, pits, paddock, and what not were pretty normal, even had buell demos though I didn't get to partake and they didn't have any of the new ones but still cool to talk to some of the workers. Watching racing is totally different from anything I have ever done. You have to listen, pay attention, and count. Tough to do with a 1.5 year old running around but the place was awesome to watch a race and the people were great. Thanks for all the pointers from the folks that had been there I ended up in the esses under the trees and I hope I get to go back next year. The first race Mladin set a new record and looked as if he couldn't be beaten, he was flying around like he was on a magic carpet. The second race was supposed to be more of the same But Bostrom shot out of the gate from the 5th position to take the early lead and never let go, powering team italia to the checkered flag once again, Mladin went down trying to aviod a wreck and nobody could seem to pass, Next year I may get some camping going cause that looks like the way to go, I didn't see many buells there and I drove, saw maybe 15 total less than five XB's and mostly stock looking tubers save for one. But definitely a good time to be had. Thanks for all the stuff Blake.

Glad you had a good time. Was thinking of you when I was watching EBoz burn up the track.

Was surprised Mladin made the rookie mistake of trying to avoid a downed sliding competitor by going around on the outside.

Worked out well for me though as I was rooting for EBoz.

Please remember to return the parking pass. : )

No takers on the extra passes?

Yea I got some dough for them I'll put it up in contigency fund when i get the chance, pass got put in the box Monday so you should get it today or tomorrow. Since EBoz got out front it made it real easy to tell what place everyone was in and when they were coming around, Ducs sound so damn nice, even in race trim. could always tell where those two were. I didn't get a lot of pics and as soon as I can figure out how to shrink them I'll post a couple
