She even stole my beer!

Kidding aside, I had a blast at the races. I'm a first timer. We showed early and enjoyed the vendor area and Beer, of course It was still good even at $6 a bottle!

Behind that was the SuperMoto riderz. These guys have got some big brass ones! The leader was sliding from the background turn into this one. BIG SLIDES!

And there were plenty of beautiful bikes to be seen from the show stoppers to the race bikes in the garage...

These were the only twins I was routing for, no Buells this weekend It always amazes me how far down they tear this things, even just before race time...

I got lots of pics at the dealer tents

Hey FB, this BAGO feels great! I was saying to myself, "I could get used to this!"

The top of the boxes were open to the public and afforded a great view of the race!

Mladin and Hayden tearing up practice...

This is the horseshoe and the Parts Unlimited bike piloted by Hodgson I was cheering on.

The writing is on that wall. California Speedway was a blast and I wanna go back! Now lets hope XB9gRl doesn't find this thread and find out what I did with the Christmas present she bought me! See scantily clad ladies above...

Hey Cali-zonies (LOL, isn't that an italian pita?), this would make one hell of a support truck for Spring/Octoberfast... Think they'll let us borrow it???

Charlie,
You need to get to Infineon and Laguna Seca. The Fontana event is pretty lame in comparison. The track isn't particularly spectator friendly due to the lack of any terrain. You pretty much can only see what is right in front of you. Laguna and Infineon have a lot of elevation changes and there are lots of places where you can see more action. This year, Fontana was particularly disappointing. The displays were smaller, the crowds kinda small, and the racing was kinda dull both days, with not a lot of lead switches and drama, pretty much just a train ride around the track for the most part. Don't get me wrong, I had fun, always do at the races. But Laguna and Infineon are both better events, so try to get to one of them if you can.

Al

Thanks for the tip Al. This being my first go, I had no reference and still enjoyed the crap out of it. I really wish I was going to Laguna but I'm closing my house then. Next year...Sigh.

It was really good seeing you again. Sorry I lost ya in the crowd and didn't say good bye.

Hopfully see you at Oktoberfast...
