Hello Court. Sorry for the late reply. Been out of town. Thanks for the input on the fairing. Spoke to my dealer yesterday. S.P.O.C. called back & said my fairing is to be delivered next week. Whew! I just want to say that my dealer House of Harley-Davidson in Anchorage is great. They have stood by their product & bent over backwards to help me. The only real problem I have encountered with my S3T has been the absurdly long wait for painted parts. The folks at H-O-HD are real professionals. I think they go that extra mile to try and keep their customers happy. Unfortunately some things are not under their control. Thanks again for your help.

Mark:

MOST EXCELLENT !

I have heard neat things about the dealer in Anchorage after one of the Buell staff visited there several years ago.

Sorry for the wait on the painted parts. Been a problem and still lingers, but it's come to the forefront of the "must get resolved" issues.

You have done yourself well by forging a good relationship with your dealer....there is no more valuable Buell accessory.

Ride safe and enjoy the Buell.

Court

Dear H-D/Buell,
Require your dealerships to stock parts for Buells. Especially when there is a active service bulletin (B-016B Isloators) out there. Stock a $46 kit ... c'mon. This "independently owned and operated" song has grown very old.

Dave . . . here's what happened to me this morning.

I went to a local Harley Dealer to buy some Buell performance parts. I got a gift certificate to use at the dealership and thought I would get some race components.

Me - "Can I order Buell parts here?"

Parts Manager - "No, we can't get Buell parts, we are not an authorized dealer."

Me - "Can I get other aftermarket parts, like a V&H muffler?"

PM - "Oh yeah, no problem"

I just don't get it.

Chris

Chris: HD is not Buell; Buell is not HD. Anyone can get aftermarket parts. You could order a V&H muffler for a Buell from a Kawasaki dealerhip. It's pretty simple. You want Mazda factory parts, you don't go to Ford do you (Ford ownes Mazda)? Try visiting your friendly neighborhood Buell dealer to purchase OEM Buell parts. Okay? Do you get it now? :)
