Hehehehe.....WOW......even *I* learned something about old Buells.....now a 1987 or 1988 RS really would be ahead of it's time.

Hey, wait a minute, there really *was* a 1952 Corvette! The concept car they made for the Motorama show where it was first shown. And the rest is history.

BTW ... check your e-mail ... there's a discussion going on and we need your participation.

Wonder if this has happened to anyone else...

Back in May, I was ready to get my first Buell. Knew exactly what I wanted. Walked into the "HARLEY" dealer one day and there she was....2001 'black' M2 Cyclone! Only one available and a rebate was in place, so made a deal. Found out later, it was an M2Low. Expected an M2 standard but since it was the only one, paid the extra money and was happy.

They pushed it out and I rode away...and immediately returned. I walked back in and sat on a silver M2L. This bike was a lot lower. Jaws dropped, serial numbers were checked...yup my M2 was definitely a Low (LS), but came with standard seat and suspension. An all new model, the M2 Unlow! To be fair, the dealer offered to convert it to a 'real' Low, but I didn't want my knew bike dicked with so I settled on getting an M2L seat, not that I needed two seats. They asked for the standard seat back, but since I paid extra for the Unlow model, I kept both.

So, how rare is my Unlow? Anyone else have one?
