Mine already has one courtesy EB's Backdoor Sales a few weeks ago. Couple of slight problems, of course. As the heads are much larger than standard, they won't fit all the way up into the space in the frame normally occupied by Buell motors and as such, the crank case scrapes to buggery on things like kerbs and speedbumps because it's set much lower than standard. To that end, I've welded a large flat piece of aluminum in that area to strenghten it and um... help stop the oil leaking out. It's a Harley so I'm not worried about the bottom end giving up the ghost anytime soon, right?
It goes like Billy Bollocks as you can imagine but slowing down is a chore since the front tyre keeps encroaching on the radiator with just the slightest touch of the front brake. The fins toward the center of the radiator have "closed ranks" if you will and the backside looks rather fetching with the application of all that silver solder. It's got a distinct curve to it sort of like one of those curved radiators on an inline four. They've almost completely self-clearanced themselves at this point, I figure two or three more types will sort it .
The back brake is no help either being saturated in oil (along with the back tyre on occasion) so you might use a calendar to plan your turns.

There are other small problems like noise and vibration but I've never lost control because of them. Maybe I should have spent the extra bux to have them install it.

OK so on one hand, the guy wouldn't want to talk $hit out his @ss, cause he'll look like a fool, but on the other hand, woudln't we have heard it somewhere else? What an obscure place for a leak?!?!?!

He did name a specific time and place, so I guess we'll see. No point really in sitting around guessing. I'm gonna go ride.

LAter,
Nick
