I was watching speed TV this morning and they showed custom chromes new kit bike, kinda Buellish. Seems pretty expensive for a bike thats still not going to perform like the buell. Take a look at it, here's the Link. Hodakaguy

I like it! Do you know how much it weighs?

There is a local guy here who builds bikes like this but with Ducati motors in them. They weigh about 375 I am told.

Look at the position of the footpegs, that just verifies your point! Although I wouldn't mind giving it a whirl around the county. Ya know just for comparison sake,

Dusty had that bike at one of our A.S.B.N. nights last year.Very cool bike ,really.Tried to get him to have Custom Chrome sponsor us one for Bonneville. They thought about it,but said no--darn.It had a shot at a record. And Drag was sending a bike.

It's an attractive bike for sure. But, for those numbers, I'd be more inclined to do some suspension work on the HD Street Rod or just get an '05 999 Duc...apples and oranges for sure, but I do like the CC bike!

imagine if you took 20 grand and bought a brand new buell and put what was left over after the purchase into the bike, it would be a much better bike! i would even prefer a brand new xb12r stock, to that bike.
