Blake, Cj , et al.
I got my calander yesterday. What a colossal waste of money!
It's only got motorcycles in it! And just Buell's to boot!
And, what's with all the weird names on the covers?

Seriously, cudos to all involved. It turned out GREAT!
When I get back from AZ, I'll start going through my pictures to see what I can dig up.

Thanks guys, it was fun. Got mine yesterday, thanks Blake 4 them. It does look good if I do say so myself.

Blake the white outline on the cover letters is caused by something called trapping and could be removed by someone who was good at prepress work (I cetainly am not). Doing trapping is something prepress people learn with experience.

They are cool

Dave Gess:

Most excellent work, but then you've had >20 years of practice doing "Buell Art".

By the way, our ship came in. Guess who's "really not dead"? Will call later. I want you to sign my calendar.

Dave, : (

Dennis (Lake),
Ouch! Those carp hurt! hehehe My bad. I didn't mean to lie to ya; as there is some overlap in order to ensure everyone's name made the list, it appears as though yours made both the front and back covers. Not to mention the cool silo photo on the September page. I dig pics like that, with interesting objects and the motorcycle off to the side and oriented diagonally in the frame. Your pic would have to make a good example for a photography class, depth, clean/uncluttered, perspective, well lit/shadowed, contrast, weighting/balance, and a big manly silo! LOL.

Everyone who is pitching in and sending photos for the new improved larger faster more fuel efficient on-time delivery 2006 calendar, please take a look at the ones that made this year's, especially the ones like Dennis' and others with interesting camera angles and fore or backgrounds. I dig photography.

Dave, how many pixels would we need to populate an entire 14"x12" page? Lemme see at 300 dpi that would be... ARGHHH!... 15 MEGA Pixels!

Well, if we get one that nice and that large, we can certainly use it, otherwise we can use multiple pics per page, which I think is too cool anyway.

Thanks Blake!!!! Sorry about the carp (not really : D)

I've been taking pictures since I was in grade school. Right now, it's still mostly standard SLR stuff. 1 camera with color & 1 with B&W. Many times I'll take multiple pictures of the same thing with different lenses, films & exposures. That's about the only way to get ONE good picture: D

Now off to search the front cover

I stroll out to the mailbox not wanting to get my hopes up. I extend my arm slowly and draw the door open... IT'S HERE IT'S HERE! The cover is off in a flash, what a beaut'. I scan the name list and immediately see XB9gRl, my wife, look, look, look; still havn't found mine. She rubs it in...

It's wonderful and is already proudly displayed...Thank you!
