I always thought it started in Paris, thus the old name of Paris to Dakar rally. This was a tough year, seeing the deaths of two riders, one of whom, Fabrizio Meoni, was a rallye bike legend. We'll have them hold court at American Sport BikeN as soon as they can get back and download.
