They come in SS, carbon, titanium.

I know a few folks here have them....in stainless I think?

I was planning on ordering one this week.
is it worth it to get it in carbon? or Ti?

Thanks. Dan

The end caps are stainless on all models, I got Ti on sale, I considered Carbon, ( for looks ) but I've bounced the stocker off a few speed bumps with my M2L so I went with tough. Have not touched since, figures.

Go with the one you like, the stainless is cheaper, so you can use the leftover money for an oil change. The Ti is pretty darn light though.

About two years ago WileyCo redesigned the exhaust for the Tubers. I had an old one that had broke. I emailed them with a pic and they sent me a new exhaust that week. I only paid for shipping. They didn't even care that I had not sent in the warranty card. Great company to deal with. The new exhaust has been great! I wrote a whole thing on it somewhere in the archives

How do they sound? I have been thinking about getting one for my S2. Is it louder then stock, deeper? Any power benefit?

Louder then stock definately. It is quiet at Idle and barks hard at WOT. My Dad who rides a Buel powered sporty with Vance and Hines pipe will not ride on my left side because I like to blip the throttle at him. You will need to have your carb re-jetted. You can ride witout the rejet, but you will notice it doesn't feel right. After the rejet, it runs great!

Also, I opened my original WileyCo after 5,000 and found no problems with the packing. It almost looked new.

May have to call into work. Look for the red S2 with the tiny little man on it.

Otherwise if you are up in Milwaukee later this spring I could start it up for you. (right now it is in dire need of a Tune Up).

Some find it requeirs rejetting and others don't. I tried 3 jet sizes 2 different needles and ended up changing back to the stock jet and needle. I upped the pilot one size and shimmed my needle about .020 that is where it runs the best. Wileyco says no rejet is required and I think they are right.

I ended up with one size smaller. Also bigger idle jet, raised the needle, etc. See the Knowledge Vault for suggestions, & fine tune from there. I have yet to get on a Dyno... oh well Spring will come... (repeat mantra)

I added a Forcewinder intake at the same time. The combination made it run very lean.
