Worst deer accident ever.

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=777869

Posting just because it is indeed the worst deer accident photo set I have yet to see. No story or word on the driver, just a set of pics. Do not click thru if you'd find offensive. If objectionable to moderators - just kill the post.

Holy Crap. Talk about scary. I have neverseen any thing that grotesque. I hope there weren't any children in that vehicle.

Ingemar,

Have you ever seen a Moose vs Car?????

Ask the boys about it that were here last summer and saw this one.

1

2

3

Not as grotesque but you can see the destruction.

There were kids in the back seat of that one who were alive and well, the driver was injured but not too bad.

The previous year I witness another similar Moose Car Accident where the driver was killed.

Ingemar -

I agree with you. There seems to be way too much blood in that car. I have never hit a deer, but my father has hit about five. He drives a lot, needless to say. I have never seen 1/2 of the blood in all five accidents TOTAL when compared to the blood in that car.

I will bet $ that is not fake. I have hit 3 deer in vehicles and 1 on a motorcycle. (Killed way more with a gun though).

When I returned home after hitting the one on my motorcycle I was blood and guts from head to toe. It exploded on impact and was a mess.

Rode with the deer tucked nicely on the front end for about 75 feet, it rolled off the front and I drove over it.
Dragged the deer off to the side of the road and rode home with bike dog tracking the whole way.

More to the story, but I will say this is no fake.... IMHO

I don't think that those that thinks it's fake have ever been hunting and gutted their own deer.

From an accident in Northern Ontario last year. The driver, the vehicle's only occupant, suffered a broken wrist.

No, it was not.

Andy, Rest in Peace, and I were running a moderate pace about sunset. The deer bolted and Andy nailed it in the front shoulder.

This spun the deer, and it's hind quarters slammed into his right side, smashing his leg against the S1WL.

Andy did an amazing job of retaining control. We stopped about a half mile down the road. His leg was swollen badly and the bike digned a bit.

Riding in deer infested areas require great caution and a smattering of luck.

Those aren't faked, my GF is a claims adjustor and has seen similar pics. One of the halves of the deer went all the way thru the inside of the Trailblazer from what she said based on similar claims. Her question is what did the driver of the Trailblazer do?

I was inspecting a state owned bus one time up in Ironwood, Michigan. The buses on the line runs out to the mines hit deer about once a week. The damage was only a broken light bezel and a fiberglass piece between the head lights cracked. The damage was minor for a deer hit but the deer guts were all sprayed into the spare tire compartment under the front of the bus. When I got there in the morning the bus stunk. The tire compartment looked just like the inside of that car.

After seeing many many moose vehicle accidents I can see the deer shot being believable.

A deer is not all that big and if it goes through the windshield then its gonna make a big mess over everything.

Wife had a dear run into the side of our Suburban. Blew the rear driver's side door glass all over the three kids in the back. Scary considering the truck was not moving. Stupid deer!! Even though it was in a flat field with a clear view during the day, it hit the Suburban squarely in the middle. Talk about locking on an obstacle.DON'T HIT THE TRUCK! DON'T HIT THE TRUCK! DON'T HIT THE TRUCK!}

That's why I get real uneasy when guys ride close together at night. If a deer runs out there's no way the group will avoid the crash. With decent separation if one of the front riders have to hit their brakes hard (or the deer), the back riders may be able to avoid it.

I mentioned this awhile back in a deer thread- A buddy of mine with a Goldwing was riding at night on a county road. He met a car on the side of the road with just one headlight. He thought to himself "That's odd" then realized why the car only had one headlight and looked forward just in time to see the deer sprawled across his lane. He hit the deer square on at 55. He said that when the bike landed it wiggled a little and straightened out.
The sheriff that showed up didn't believe that he had hit it until he showed him the fur on the bottom of the bike.
I told him that he was lucky that he wasn't on the brakes or he probably would have flipped the bike. His 10 year-old son was on the back and most likely would have been chucked off if it wasn't for his sissy bar.

This is why my wife bought a single seater gunfighter seat for my M2. My 9 year daughter rides with me all the time and loves the Buell, but the wife says no to the M2 because she says I'm saner on the Nighthawk and it has a sissy bar. So far, I have only hit a possum on the road. There was a little ankle biter that chased out into the road after me. I thought he would have stopped by the yellow lines but he didn't. A last minutes adjustment on my part and a good pucker on his part, saved his life. I literally saw my left foot on the peg pass over his head.
