I found a web site that has some very nice looking stuff for the S1 and RS1200.

http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/buell/prodbuell.htm

Perhaps it's already a well know link. But what the heck?... There it is anyway.

American Sportbike sells their stuff. I've been toying with getting a GP-style tailsection for track days. It's supposed to be some good quality stuff.

Airtech--quality is fair.Customer service is abysmal or worse.Once you have it you are on your own.I have the Airtech stuff on my LSR S-2 and it was a bitch to fit and when I needed a taller windscreen I could barely get anyone to talk to me.Absolutely no instructions for the entire kit.Headlight mounting was a joke(not that I needed it,but--)So be warned.

The one thing they appear to be, is consistent.

FMJH's assessment has been the intel report on these guys since day one. The upside is that they have been abysmal for a while and it appears they will be abysmal in the future.

This, in the Darwinian advancement of the Buell breed, has turned folks like JB2 and FMJH into top notch body folks out of necessity.

I have it, cracks and all.But they are the only game in town so what you get is a starting point.Better than starting from scratch!I think my fairing fits OK. The tail is cracking and is very thin in places, get out the 'glass kit!

Airtech is sort of a racers direct company. They make extremely limited production items and appear to be the only company in their particular niche. If you find yourself in need of an oddball fairing of any kind they seem thave something close. If you need a windshield go to Gustafson in Florida.

After a few phone calls and some measuring they came up with a fairing to put on one of our XR-750's for Bonneville. Went from mile passes in the 134 range to passes in the 153 range. Rock solid and stable as all get out. Bike now has mps-pf and mps-pg records in 750cc. They are racing type people and will help all they can.

I am real glad someone like them is in business!!
