I'm placing an order with Vanson and was just wondering if anyone else wants some Vanson/Buell stuff?
I might as well order a bunch at once!
This is the one I think I'm getting.

I'd love to but a little out of my price range. I've been drooling over that jacket for a while

Yes, Vanson stuff is pricey but well worth it.
The jacket I have is 5 years old, been crashed in and worn almost everyday of the spring, summer and fall.
It is still in great condition and should last me another 10 years.
So figure 600.00 divided by 15 years, that's only 40.00 per year.

Sorry Dave

I was way to close to Vanson itself while in NY. Let alone a shop in Troy that gave me a real deal on a Velociraptor Pro-Perf jacket.

Something you might want to check out. Black and Gray, I picked up a couple of those spendy leathers hangers. Sweet!

Wish I could swing the price on that stuff. I was actually looking at that jacket yesterday as well. Nice looking jacket, that's for sure.

I'd LOVE to... I've been drooling over that one as well. I just don't have the money and my Vanson textile is holding up VERY nicely even after five years of crawling through the dirt playing paintball in it.

I have the perforated XR2 and am fairly pleased, but it's impossible to wear in hot weather and not really good for cold conditions either. I should have gotten the non-perforated version. Still, it's a great jacket and I love it when the weather is between 60-80 degrees.

Does the Vanson $75 off coupon they have available apply to the Buell stuff?

The Vanson stuff is really nice, but with all that advertising, I would have to be paid to wear it.

You know like the guy in NYC that gets paid for walking around wearing the "Eat at Joe's" placards.

Dave,
I'll say a large. I'll pick the jacket up when I get the bike. I'll be in touch with my parts order for the XB, any chance it can be picked up a bit early so I have have toys added in time for the shindig in East Troy?

The Vanson factory has an open house and BBQ every year. It's a good trip if you are in the Boston area (the roads around Fall River are not very good but the event is). They also have a seconds room. Their stuff is built very well and they are good people to do business with.

Dave, have you placed the order yet? If not, I'd like to get a back protector for my Vanson jacket. It's a 44 so that should be the 4 plate one. If it's too late will you make another order sometime this summer?

Thanks!
