Did everyone get what they wanted?
I asked for nothing & told my kids to save their money since they dont have much. Got exactly what I asked for too, so for me it was a good christmas. Both my grandsons were over & they got quite a bit of stuff, Tonka Trucks, Bob the Builder tricycle, Dinosaurs, etc etc.

Hope everyone had a good holiday & hopefully it didnt get too overwhelming for anyone.

How did the Blake Christmas finally end up?

I got a new (more Harley oriented) riding jacket, and some goodies like my 12 airbox lid.

Merry Christmas!

My wife got me a pioneer C/D player installed in my pickup. she also bought me a MAC 4 to 1 header and muffler for a Honda 750 I'm building. I got her a week cruise to the virgin islands in Febuary. The kids got the usual toys and stuff, my oldest one is watching the chiefs play in K.C. for his present. I was surprised about both, because I didn't really want anything. I usually buy myself what I want.

Wow! Really had a good Christmas this year, Besides having to work 96 hours through it... I got a Kodak 6.1 mp camera and my wifes parents paid to get the ball rolling on the purchase of a house! One with a big garage. You know, gotta have room to expand the Buell family!

I'm mostly happy to have the love of my dear wife though, everything else is just a big bonus!

Went dirt biking with my boys, some buddies and their boys on Friday at El Mirage. Us big boys got some time to do some aggresive desert trail blasting...great fun, but, I have'nt been this sore in a long time. Ouch.

Yesterday was spent with family (very nice),I got a new scanner (slide/negative type), some DVD's, a couple games and a yet to be named present, I'm planning on tearing down the '72 to do some things, so I kinda have a free ticket there, but nothing too crazy.

Today is relax day, ALL DAY. Woo hoo don't get many of those.

Thanks to some help from my uncle, my wife and I went under written contract on a new house 12/20/04, so I guess you could call that a Christmas present, even though we don't close until 1/21/05.

The "official" Christmas loot consists of a 4.5hp air compressor from my parents, a big gift card to home depot from my wife's parents, a pair of flannel-lined jeans and a new guitar case from the wife, a tavern puzzle, a best buy gift card, and some cash. The biggest surprise came from my brother-in-law. We usually just get each other gift cards or something, this year he got me a new pair of Sidi Vertigo riding boots. Needless to say I was pretty stoked about that.

My wife got me a Neuros II mp3/ogg/wav etc. 30 Gig. Total geek toy - does FM Broadcast to a blank frequency, has a line-in for recording. Like an IPod, only with more confusing options.
Oh, and full GNU/Linux support. So I can actually use it at home.

My wife got me a full set of Patrick O'Brian's "Aubrey & Maturin" novels (of recent "Master and Commander" fame). I'm so excited. If anyone's interested in historical fiction re: British Royal Navy you couldn't ask for a better series.

Spent the entire day at home with the wife and kids. In laws and Out laws dropping in and out. Had some great big old honking ribeye steaks on the grill, ate more than necessary, then played couch potato while watching Irobot with my son. A blessed day indeed.

Cleaned up too! New Dremel with the full accessory kit, a portable air compressor, some new stubby screwdrivers (my old ones ended up in the duct work of some car my son was doing a stereo install.) A UHG drill bit set -- it's freaking huge! Plenty of new black t-shirts.

Um, got a new set of leathers, Teknic Lighting 2 pc, some skivvies, and a signed copy of 'Elwood's Blues, Interviews with the Blues Legends & Stars'.

We couldn't make it back to Cincinnati this year so the rest came in the form of checks.

My dad sent us a line drawing he did of the face of a relative, Theodore Duesterberg, who ran against Hitler in the first of four elections in 1932 Germany that eventually brought Hitler to power.

Pauletta, my better half, got mostly stuff for her 883C, the bike it self was an early Christmas present.

Spent Christmas day with friends (Carlos, who goes by M2NC here).

Quiet, serene, good.

Banke oil cap, FASTER collector edition, a job. Happy camper here.

Here's a belated wish I accepted from my sister. I offer it here, contingent to political correctness waiver blah blah blah...

================================================
PLEASE ACCEPT with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

AND

A fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2005, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere) and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee.

DISCLAIMER

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This Greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and it is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warrantee is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.
