Now that 2004 is coming to a close...what are your plans for 2005?

Here are a couple of my goals for the upcoming year (in no particular order)....

1) Attend 3-4 track days
2) Take at least 1 motorcycle trip
3) Teach my wife to ride (she'll also be taking the Rider's Edge course)
4) Learn to weld (just something I've wanted to know how to do)
5) Become more physically fit (not to loss weight, just to have more endurance for those long days on the bike : D )

I'm sure I'll think of more things in the upcoming days.

Happy New Years to all my BWB friends!!!

I quit smoking about a year and a half ago after 14 years of the nasty habit...I will never smoke again. However, let's just say I've been eating a bit more and the resultant extra 30 lbs of ballast has got to go. I have no more excuses. The smoking is gone, and now I need to get back to my fighting weight.

Oh...and ride a lot more.

Save money for my holiday in August.

Get a better job and make a boatload of money.

Get a dirt bike

Work on my counter steering technique

Work on my trail breaking technique

Put my knee down often enough so I need new pucks by the end of the year

Put at least another 10,000 kays on the counter

1. hopefully find out I will not need heart surgery.

2. not crash.

3. retire from federal service.

4. find a real job.

4 1/2. not get fired from that job, as I have not had a job out of government service in about 33 years, and the learning curve looks like a cliff!

5. finish the CT70 project bike.

6. get our BRAG chapter up and running...(without the membership tar & feathering me)

7. smoke more (cigars)

8. drink more (stress from having a job where I can actually get fired or laid off for the first time in 33+ years)

9. lose weight (from worry about losing my new job)

10. find out that Buell releases a sport-touring model (and not regret quitting the rock steady government job so I could make the payments to buy one, but be too scared to have more debt for fear of losing the real job)

To drink more. Really. I dont drink nearly enough, and I'm getting old at 24.

Lake and Gschutte- my company is sending me to the college (after work of course) to learn to weld (SMAW). Already got the buzz box hooked up in my garage, and have been playing around. Its cool. I've been learning all about different steels and etc.

Sandblast- I work in a welding shop and I love it. Have fun learning to weld. The only bad part is that your snot is black after work.
