Great story. If you like that, you'll like this: http://www.419eater.com/ These guys string along the infamous Nigerian scam artists. You know, you get an e-mail supposedly from a family member of some diposed diplomat who needs you to launder a million or so bucks for him and is willing pay you a few thousand to do it. You end up sending him your bank info, and find your account cleaned out shortly afterwards. These anti-scammers are great. | ||

It was a great story but I wonder about this:
I wonder if Jeff was the original scammer. I wonder if the whole story was a scam, a hoax and that none of it actually happened. | ||

This was my response to a Nigerian scammer who was asking for help to settle some estate: Out of the goodness of my heart I will help you for a fee of 3,000 dollars payable by money order. I hope you take advantage of my exceedingly generous offer. Also, I would like a pet hyena. I would be more interested in the hyena than the money. If a hyena is not available then perhaps you could ship a medium sized crocodile. God bless and good luck. I never got a response |
