F150 is a girlie truck...will work great for you. My plant manager just picked up a king cab F250 with the V-10 turbo diesel. Thing is fricken huge, had a cap put on that is color matched, big @ssed tube steps, etc. Just under $50,000 for everything, thats crazy.

40,000 to 50,000 for a pickup truck. Man what has the world come to. It is a truck for god sake. I can remember(and I'm not that old) when pickups were for work and hauling. does anybody actually do that with a truck anymore? I do with mine, haul broke motorcycles, stuff to the local recycle station and haul equipment for my contracting business.Like dyna said that's crazy. That car is way ugly, but cool in a way.

No such beast as a V-10 turbo diesel, sorry. It's either a gas V-10 or a V-8 turbo diesel,in a 6 liter if new or the old one was 7.3,but the 6.0 has more HP.

For the car, I'll give the kid a 10. He didn't just go to the store and spend a ton of money, he used his imagination and did it himself. Gotta love him for that. Even though it didn't work out so good.

Yeah Tom, I do. I have a 63 Chevy Short Stepside that is used as my '4 wheels' for bad weather days. WAY more cargo capacity than the X1. No power steering, power brakes, power windows, yada yada......

X1tx- THAT is a cool truck. That's what I remember trucks being like- vinyl seat, rubber floor mat (no carpet), steel inside door panels, one visor (driver's side only), hardboard headliner, usually no radio. Even the arm rest was optional.

X1tx, used to have a 65 short step side 283, 3 speed, cragar ss mags. That truck sacrificed itself to save me from a killer telephone pole one dark rainy nite.

my first four wheel vehicle was a 66 chevy long wide bed. 283, 3 on the tree and absolutely nothing else not required to make it go! still have a warm spot in my heart for those trucks.

I had a 68 chevy C10, that was the best damn truck I have ever owned. It always started and it had a lot of miles on it. The spedo didn't work so the miles stopped counting long time ago. MAN I LOVED THAT TRUCK!
