http://www.somewareonthe.net/MMDB/ It's winter (%!@!), and a good percentage of us are now stuck indoors, so now seemed the best time to sit down and bring this idea to fruition. Since I'm 7 parts geek to 3 parts mechanic, and my bike is new & doesn't require any off-season work, I've squeezed out a neat little website instead. Click on the above link to share in my winter project. Tell me what you think, and if you like it, please do go forth and post a link in your other favorite forums. Also, since it is new and naturally low on content - be sure to add a movie or two if you can. |

Spiderman, you can add movies yourself. I just added "Faster" and I haven't even seen it yet! Midknyte, great job on the web site! Are you an affliate with Amazon? It doesn't look like you are. You should sign up and get some revenue! |

Faster is pretty good, what about classics like Electraglide in Blue or Magnum force? |

You really have to be wrapped up into the racing scene pretty heavy to get the most out of Faster. I liked the soundtrack but overall I found the movie rather dull. |

what about classics like Electraglide in Blue As a video-phile I try to rent as many MC movies as I can find. Can't seem to find the one above. Who's in it? When was it made? Just curious. Rob |

As a second note, doesn't Arnie flee from the bad guy on a big Hog in one of the terminator movies? Rob |

Yep, Terminator 2! He was riding a Fat Boy. It's my favorite out of the Terminator movies. The first one is OK and I haven't seen Terminator 3 yet. I have heard that T3 is a let down after T2. |

Yeah, T3 was just a means to an end, or rather, and end to a means. (see it and you'll understand) |

My winter stress relieval is leaving my M2 on trickle charge and doing a warmup run on those days like I had last Sunday afternoon. 45 degrees and sunny. My son and I did about 40 miles. Sure was a nice ride. Every so often in the middle of winter you get one of those days. For the other days of drab; On any Sunday 1&2 and TV motorcycle specials. Then theres BWB. Thanks guys and gals. |

i was clueless about the racing scene when i went to see Faster at the theater, but i loved it and felt i learned something, now i'm eagerly awaiting the 2 disk DVD to come in that i ordered last month..... Electra Glide in Blue was one of those late '60s/early '70s cult movies, don't know the name of the actor but he was a motorcycle cop investigating a murder case if i remember correctly. Decent movie, but i don't remember much motorcycle action.... |

Electra Glide in Blue (1973) starred Robert Blake, formerly known as "Baretta", currently known as defendant. |

Just added Harley Davidson & the Marlboro man..crummy movie but that bike of Mickey Rourkes is badd@ss. Also Mission Impossible 2, the chase scene witht eh Triumphs is one of the best ever. Just forget about the goofy way the bikes could magically swap between street & dirt tires. |

Two of my favorites are Time Rider (a bit campy but some great scenes of a Yamaha thumper with I think a Champion frame) and Black Rain (good movie in general, but added bonus of scenes of sport bikes, dirt bikes, and best of all an XLCR knock-off with Tracy fairing). TJ |

That was Hillarious about the tire swapping seen In MI2. I'm glad my buddy and I weren't the only ones to notice. |

Barb Wire, Pamela rides a Triumph in the movie & yes she actually did ride it. Although I think the bike takes a back seat to her scene in the bathtup with the bubbles. |

Heh, thanks Dyana. Now I've a legitimate reason to get around to renting that flick. She actually rides it? Cool. On the level, I'm engendered and impressed by the likes of Pamelas. An actual hot woman compared to pre-fab, try too hard, Britney wannabes (Britney included). Please do add these movies to the site itself and thanks! (http://www.somewareonthe.net/mmdb/) |
