Author Message   X1tx Posted on Thursday, December 16, 2004 - 03:16 pm:        Need a TPS reset on my 99 X1. Dealer wants me to 'leave the bike with them' for a WEEK before they can 'get to it'. Anyone know someone in the Houston area who can do this? I refuse to let some yahoos push my bike into a corner and let it sit for a week to do 10 minutes work on it. Tried Goe and they're no help. Guy I talked to in 'Service' didn't sound like he was ready to start shaving yet. Finally did talk to the right person at Stubbs though (who knows a little about Buells) and he said he could do it in ~10 minutes. I'll get it done this weekend.
