Awesome!!! But why do I get the feeling that somewhere between that fellow's homeowners insurance and his local City Inspector's he could be in deep yogurt from a fire/health hazard perspective.

Must be violating a few city ordinances with that herd in the house. Not to mention, the garage looks like a Business and I venture to guess he is zoned residential. LOL

Then again, I am full on envious of his collection.

Perhaps if all fluids are drained, battery removed etc then it wouldnt be an issue? Sure they become nothing more than museum pieces, but I doubt any of those get ridden anymore anyways.

It would only be a hazard if there was fuel actually in the bikes.

Why would it be more of a fire hazard to put a bike with fuel in it in the house than in the garage? My garage is attached to my house and made of the same materials, besides the floor of course.

Attached garages require a firewall separating the house from the garage..at least here they do. Usually 2 layers of drywall is all thats needed.

Its not so much the firehazard as a health hazard to be in a living space that has gasoline stored within, the Fumes you know.... A garage itself isn't concidered a living space.

I met Dave out here at Willow Springs for the AHRMA racing.

Hurley Wilvert (used to race for Kawasaki back in the day with DuHamel, Nixon and Smart - when I was trying to make a living in the industry ... but I'm dating myself) - Hurley was racing one Dave's H1R's - and as usual, started to seize the middle cylinder.

Dave was racing one of his air-cooled H2R's - and doing mighty well, too!

Dave Crussel and his wife are true enthusiasts... you have to be to consider racing vintage 2-smokes!
