Anyone else a fan of Damageplan or Pantera. I went to a Damageplan concert this spring and it was awesome. It is unthinkable to me that someone could jump on stage and kill members of a band. Dimebag Darrell was an awesome guitar player and will be missed. I am speechless. | ||

not familiar with the band, but similarly struck by the senselessness of the act -- minimal details available at this point, and, while the motive is of no use in un-doing the damage done, I'll admit that some light on the motive would be welcome from the reports I've heard, the LEO on site acted decisively and correctly wow -- this kinda thing makes ya want to cry | ||

Pantera is my favorite band. This is a terrible day. Some people are saying that Vinnie went down also. That hasn't been confirmed. I used to frequent the Alrosa Villa and even played there once. That club has gone to hell in the last 5-10 yrs. Many fights spilling into the parking lot with stabbings and shootings. This attack was apparently aimed at the Abbott brothers for breaking up Pantera. | ||

I heard the news about that this morning, I was speechless.... Dimebag was a kick azz guitar player, we can't forget about the other 4 people shot and killed before the gunman was brought down, he killed 6 people total, including 2 memebers of DammagePlan, | ||

 Don't know what this world is coming too.. You go to a show to enjoy the tunes and the folks your with.. We'll never understand why.. not really.. Just thank God there was a cop nearby who took decisive action and managed to save lives that may have been lost if the shooter had been allowed to continue his rampage. My prayers  go out to the families of those innocents and musicians that fell victim.. and as for the shooter..  I hope he enjoys his season in hell..  | ||
