Over the years, I've sent out cards with Harleys, Indians, Triumphs, BMWs, Vincents and even Flying Merkels on them. When are we going to get some cards with the neatest motorcycles made on them? I'll take about 100 of them. | ||

Now wait just a minute. There are Buell Christmas cards, they are just INCREDIBLY difficult to come by. Here are photos of a 1997 Christmas card from Buell at that time sent only to suppliers.   I managed to finagle this and a few other years while I was working for Buell. Since all of my stuff is in a state of manageable chaos, I am not sure what years I have or if I have any extras. Also, last year when I went home to East Troy for Christmas I stopped at a buddies house who still works at Buell and hanging on his wall was a company Christmas card from Buell with a nice shiny red XB12R on it. So apparently they are giving them out to employees now too, instead of just to suppliers. 1313 | ||

I'm not looking for cards that the factory has sent out to their suppliers, or gave out to their employees. I send out over 100 cards each year, and they all have motorcycles on them. I just keep hoping that some year, there'll be a card with a Buell on it, that I can send out to my friends and family. | ||

Hehehe...I have the ones from Buell and from Ducati framed together..is that a "bad" thing? | ||

Court...Is only a bad thing if you don't post a pic of them. I'm a sick man (read: retired marketing guy) and love to study ads and commercials for their layout, content and graphic appeal. Christmas cards are just an extension of a company's advertising and sales promotion effort and I would like to see how the various companies portray themselves in this media. Incidentally, I really like the the Buell card posted above. |
