Does anybody have one?

Sound like a cool thing to have for the fun of it. They're at Toys R Us for $99. Selling on ebay for $150!!!

Maybe a cool "pit toy" for track days : D You can race up to 4 ppl w/o interference.

Is it a friction drive on the rear wheel or is that chain actually functional? Can they be converted to belt so I don't have to worry about the back getting all gunked up?

Available at Circuit City for $89.99 with free shipping. The one on their website (and the one I saw) is blue & white with a matching rider suit.

I think Santa will be bring one just for sh!ts and grins.

I'd love to have one of the gas powered but not at 4x the price

I had access to a simlar device last year for a couple of weeks -- it caused me great embarassment to find I could barely make it down the driveway without scraping the pegs (and not on purpose)

gave my women folk great joy to watch, needless to say

the gassers are stupid fast. as in "no lot large enough", 20-50mph real speed. they actually steer only by countersteer. they have a lot of trail in the fork geometry, and the servo linkage is "soft" with springs. it just nudges it over into a countersteer. there are usually wire hoops that will drag the ground at about 45deg lean angle. just enough traction it will actually take of from a tip over usually.

I have a gas powered truck that does about 50 or so.

Four wheel drive, sway bars at both ends... It generally out-handles the cars, but it should, the tires are three times as wide : ).

OFNA Pirate 10 for those interested... I bought a race prepped (ported etc) O.S. .15 from Ebay. Runs REAL fast.
