And the answer to the how much question, $100,000. 20 copies available to MotGP racers. Race debut is planned for the US Grand Prix this summer at Laguna. Series production is hoped for in the future.

Very neat bike. Hope he can pull it off. Seems like a long shot to me. The CW article is very nice. Even if he gets a bike built that is fast enough for MotoGP getting a spot on the grid will be fraought wiht politics.

Where was this guy 20 years ago when Erik could have used this money?

They fired up the C1 yesterday at the Seattle IMS, right outside the exhibition hall entrance. Big crowd-pleaser!
