Will have to girt teeth. I do not ride my bikes once they've salted the roads...

It's 84 and partly cloudy here in beautiful downtown Daytona Beach (rode on the beach at lunch before it became partly cloudy).

It's apparently going to be nice and green for awhile where I'm at. Doesn't look green from my window though...

I know what the problem with Tramp is!!!!!

He is after getting road salt up the nose from the fenderless front wheel and its affecting his better judgement!!!!!BWHAHAHAHAHA

I agree once the road salt is down I don't ride in that crap.....No Snow here yet but we usually don't get dumped on until January then a hell of a lot gone by the end of March.

Get a snowmobile!!!!!

I was out playing in it a little bit ago. Didnt get much but it was enough to let me test out the AWD on my transvestite car/truck: D Works real good too.

I just shoveled 6" of snow between the little garage and the big garage and pushed the Big Kids Blast to the big garage so I can park the wifes Jeep in the little garage. I think its over for a little while. I tried riding in that stuff last year and it works better if you have a track attached to what you are riding on. I drove home from work tonight at 30 MPH in Four Wheel Drive on the highway. Remember what Milky the Clown used to say "Just Keep Smiling!"
It probably wasn't going to last much longer anyways?

Dyna, What is a transvestite car/truck?
AWD sounds like a Subaru Brat, but an AWD El Camino would be sweet.

It's gotta be 40+ with dry roads for me, I've ridden in worse but don't if the choice is there.

Winter is for upgrades and paint jobs and such.

Ya this sucks, I organize a Turkey Day breakfast ride every year and had 15 or so riders for tommorrow. We haven't missed a year in 10 years. I just took the plow off my truck after plowing for 3 hours tonite. Oh well the Glide still doesn't have 500 miles on it yet! Poor XB will have to wait for Daytona.

start slowly, gradually, wear good cheap- second hand ski gear that you don't mind getting greasy/salty, stay centered, up on your pegs, forget all of the MSF nonsense about using the front brake all the time, (STAY OFF the front brake in snow, ice and gravel for that matter. MSF training has caused more accidents...)go slowly and deliberately, and leave the macho nonsense at home. You'll enjoy winter riding in no time. great feeling.
i ran a ski school for several seasons and commuted to work on my S2T, great feeling flying down country roads on glaring, sunny winter days.

We had snow this morning if you call it that only about 1/2". Melted off by noon and I was riding. It got up to 43 degrees today, sunny, no wind.It was a great day for a ride. I rode about 150 miles and had a GREAT ride. Oh yeah, ROCK ON TRAMP! Cold weather riding is great! I don't winterize my Buell. I ride it it

Ah, I got to pondering that later and wondered if it was one of the new cross pollinations of recent development, I was fixing to feel silly... guess I will.

Begging your pardon Tramp, but the MSF classes I have taught and taken have saved my hide on numerous occasion. I avoid the front brake in the slop too though...
