I get this huge hickup at full throttle between 5500&5700 rpm. It's a 2000 x1. bone stock.

I thought maybe my fuell filer is getting clogged but it picks back up again after stuttering a bunch, and I let it climb some more around 5700 to 6500

I'm not running all over the place at redline or anthing, just when I'm really goosing it I watch the needle climb and just when the gettin's getting good it starts sputtering. most of the time.

I thought perhaps the tack was off and it was redlining early but it doesn't sound like that.

any thoughts?

Dan

replace your pilot jet

ooops, X1 (blush) -- if it was me, I'd check/replace the plugs, plug wires (both cheap, and likely could stand replacing anyways), all electrical connections (vibes at certain RPMs possibly affecting the connectors) and the ever-popular check the TPS

oh, yeah, and make sure the tank vent does

Put it on the dyno and solve the mystery before you start spending money chasing a ghost. The A/F read out will give you your answer.....Later Charlie
