You realize that if you don't get well soon; we'll have to get a crew together to come over and paint your house Parkway Blue with Molten Orange trim!
Seriously, any surgery sucks, I hope you recover quickly.

Kandie, all the best and to a speedy and complete recovery. Of course you realize that you can't do any physical work for awhile ... so make Dave do it : ) As the doctor told my mom after surgery; "Mrs. Pedersen, you can no longer go out and pick up a whole case of beer (30 in Denmark). You'll have to do it a six-pack at a time ; )

All the best

Henrik

Penny -- I got the prayer wheels on high-speed automatic -- best wishes for the speediest of recoveries, ma'am!

the idea of Dave as a nurse is just a little chilling, though

Penny....I hope you have a smooth and speedy recovery. Are you recooping in WI or IA? If you're in WI and need anything (that goes for Dave also), just give me a shout. I'm only about 20 minutes away.

Thanks for all of your get well wishes! They made Kandie smile.
She's getting around better today.
The plan is, when she feels up to the drive, for me to take her to Wisconsin with me for a week or so of her time off.

Thanks again.
Dave

Ssshhh, Dave just left me home alone. He thinks I should just nap and take another nap. I feel alittle better today. Very sore and swollen. I'm going to be a sweatpants queen for awhile. To be blunt, it hurts like hell to have some of your insides cut loose and then ripped out through your crotch.
I have some caramel brownies in the oven for nurse Dave. Better enjoy some freedom now cause when he gets home he's going to send me back to bed. Thanks everyone for your warm wishes!
I hear the garage door!

Best wishes for both of you.

Dave is doing his best at being my private nurse

Seriously, though, you gotta stop referring to "nurse Dave." I've got a case of the willies that won't go away anytime soon.

I would assume that Dave is easier on the vacuum than you are, so maybee it's a good thing. LOL

Wishes for a speedy recovery.

...and thinking of a way to increase it's suction power, I'm sure.

I can see it now...Dave starts marketing performance kits for household appliances.

You'll need to change out that rubber belt to a new '05 model! I've read elsewhere that the '03's had skimpy belts. Maybe a chain conversion...

Get well soon Kandie, please!!!

I can see where this thread is going. Somebody brings up performance belts for vacuum cleaners. Then different velocity stacks are questioned and somebody starts talking about free flowing exhaust. I'm waiting for somebody to bring up carpet nap. It's only a matter of time before everybody starts arguing about high traffic areas versus low traffic areas.

Seriously though, best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Get well wishes from this side of the pond too.

Here's a thought though, if women have a Hysterectomy, do men get to have a Herstorectomy?

ps; Dave needs a K&N for the hoover, a rejet for the dishwasher, & drum speed upgrade for the tumble-dryer. As a part-time house husband I know these things!

That was probably about the third time he's used the vacuum and I don't let him touch the dishwasher or the washer & dryer. I take care of all that stuff.

Thanks for asking. This is a rotten surgery to have done. Still very swollen and can't fit into my jeans. Still nauseated. My favorite, a Starbucks mocha hasn't even sounded good. Mostly just eating Jello. Getting around better every day. Hope I can ride one more time before it snows. Six weeks off work with pay and I can't do too much, that bites. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes. I'm still kicking!

Ya know with six weeks off and nothing to do, your bike will be clean as a whistle!!!!!!!!

Get well soon!
