Did anyone see the documentary last night on Bravo about Ewan McGregor and his buddies ride around the world. It mostly about pre-ride preparations but it looks like the rest of the series is going to be really good.

saw it,liked it, the guys seem like their enjoying themselves, and each other's company a great deal

refreshing after hearing non-riders talk about Orange County and Indian Larry as if they were all of motorcycling, IMO

Sorry I missed it; I had heard about it.

I did recently see a few disparaging remarks about the show over at the Adventure Rider site (http://www.advrider.com). Basically, McGregor mentioned they had just crossed Russia, but of course they had to cross Siberia by train as the roads were impassable. "Strikingviking" recently finished riding this part of Russia pretty much by himself on his BMW thumper. You can check out his travels at www.strikingviking.net .

I watched it. I think it's great. Very good for the sport.

that's an insult to the women I know, Mid ;-}

my 19 year old daughter labeled them whiners after watching 90 seconds or so, and left the room

she's smarter than I am -- it took me a bit longer

I enjoy the bits of the show where the editors accidentally miss editing out the actual fabrication of motorcycles.

Gee, and I thought those shows were simply sit com's for the mentally retarded.

Actually that was an unkind statement. One of the companies I was a partner in used to contract Goodwill of Huntington Beach, CA to provide assembly labor. They did an absolutely excellent job and made the OCC crew and their peers look like ancestral monkeys. Not to mention the folks from Goodwill were assembling hi tech electronics for the US and Foreign Governments. Is absolutely amazing what the physically and mentally challenged can do.

Laugh all you want, but OCC is having the last laugh...all the way to the bank.

Real rough life they lead now days, fly all over the country, buy cool toys like H2 Hummers & sometimes even pretend to build a bike or 3.

I'd take some of that action anyday.
