Is it any wonder Buell does not produce a user adjustable ECM? I will agree that one or two of his answers are suspect. 3. Is there a difference in fuel used at the same RPM’s between 1st gear and 5th gear under full throttle? Your answer False is wrong.The correct answer is True Let’s ask this question. If you were to take a ten-speed bicycle, now while on a small hill, start out in 1st gear and as fast as you can, move 30 ft. Then, try that same thing in 5th gear. Which gear would you burn more calories in? You are right if you said 5th gear. The lack of gear reduction causes you to work a lot harder to accelerate your mass (this is load). The heavier the load the more fuel you need. I can't get my head around this one, at full throttle at a certain rpm the engine is producing the same power therefore consuming the same amount of fuel irrespective of what gear you're in. Have I lost the plot? | ||
