Does anyone have a suggestion for a good Ducati dealer to order some parts though. I have tried one here in Wisconsin and thought their service was very poor.

I don't really care where they are, only that they are responsive and easy to deal with.

If that don't work you could try the Course Ducati store in Saukville over near me. Only half the staff there is stuffy. : )
But they did get the manager/former owner of the TorqueCenter to work for them, and they got rid if their in-store restaurant, so that must count for something, not sure what but something.

"Parts Fish" at Power Sports Pro does Ducati parts on-line now. I've used them for Honda parts before and they seem to be OK, but there are other places with much better prices (on Honda parts). Try:

http://www.powersportspro.com/partsfish/login.asp

You have to set up a username and password, but it's easy to check pricing on-line once you do. There's also a cool trick for finding part numbers (at least for Honda's) if you know how to look.

Jeff, let me know if I can help. There's plenty of great Ducati shops in the UK. Shipping to the US shouldn't be a problem for any of them.

Bains Racing

Casoli Moto

Leeds Ducati

Italia Classic's

South London Ducati

and there are many more.......

Yeah, Course does seem to have a Mequon Mystique about them, kind of like a hard shellac coating on a balsa wood table.

I've been in there four times now, and each visit was different in how I was treated or referenced or tolerated. Fourth visit I started to have some fun with the salescritter and started playing him like a fish on a light line, he started walking away, I asked another question, he started walking away again to get back to his internet sales, I'd ask a different question while sitting on a bike I was thinking of buying, answer and walk away again, fire off another question to him before he gets out of ear shot. I finally let him spit out the hook on the ninth or tenth retrieve and decided I didn't want to buy a bike there. Maybe next time I'll start with the owner and work my way down.

One of the parts guys is okay once he realizes he spoke with you on the telephone, the other one I'm not sure if he even has a voice. Service guy was okay for the tire change, I think he was going to use my old tire that I didn't want in his burnout pit so he seemed happy.

Jeff,
If there's something specific you want I can stop in there again since they're just two miles from my house and see if they have the parts in stock and see if I can get you a counter discount on them. Maybe I'll wear the fishing vest too. ; )

I think Sindt's will take good care of you in spite of you mentioning my name!
Make sure to start by talking to Gary.
