Hal's picked up my Cyclone from Kenosha and brought it to their shop. My bearings are fine so I thought I would have to foot the bill for the tow due to the fact my extended warranty would not cover this(The useless extended warranty I might add). Now get this Hal's is giving me the tow for free and charged me $35.00 for labor to look my bike over. This makes me very happy. The guy handling this ordeal goes by the name of Sam. Don't know his last name. Sam bent over backward for me and went way beyond the call. A super nice cool guy too boot. He is even going to bat for me to see if Buell will replace my cracked tail section for which my extended warranty does not cover body work. Initially Buell told me they will not replace it, then they said if it is a defective tail section they would although the Buell technician at Hal's would have to contact them and let them know. All I can say is Hal's HD and Sam are the best in my book. Did I mention Hal's looked at my bike within a few hours after they picked it up and called me as soon as they diagnosed the situation? I am sure there are lots of great dealers around. Of the three I have dealt with Hal's is by far way better and are a first class operation. If I decide to buy another Buell this is where I am going.

Regards

Mike

That would be Sam Monroe and he is my favorite person in Hal's service department. Needless to day the rest are only a collective close second to him.

Bomber,According to Sam it is coming from the front axle. Redline who does fine work may have put too much grease on the axle when they installed my front tire last year. I don't understand why it took 4000 miles for the grease to come out of there. I can't replace the brake pads till the rest of the grease comes out of there.

wow -- ride carefully, M, til it does -- you can always drop the front wheel and clean it out a bit, though that's not nearly as much fun as riding!
