Saw a 2004 buell XB12S on ebay with less than 100 miles, brand new not sell with a buy it now price of 7,300.oo I wish I would have seen that before I just bought a new truck. The X-1 would have went south. I can't believe it didn't sell. the last dealers I talked to about these bikes were asking over 9,000.oo |

Unless those are "out the door" prices, and are in writing, they don't mean squat. I paid full retail for my CityX (well, I did get a race ECM thrown in) and was happy to do so. Great bike at a fair price, and good support from my dealer. |

Geez, just passing along the info. Those prices are real and NOT out the door. Still, best I've seen on '05 Buells (SX &12's). Visited a handful of dealerships throughout FL last weekend. Frank |

Frank, Don't be surprised if that dealer tacks on an additional $500 documentation fee and then another $500 set up fee. Seems to be a very popular scam from the dealerships lately. |

I'm not too concerned about dealer support, the closest Buell dealer is an hour and a half drive. I live in a Metro area of 450,000 you think there would be a Buell dealer closer. Both dealers within 2 hrs of here are in towns of less than 100,000. But I would just as soon buy one from a broker as a dealer if I could save 3000.00 dollars and still have to haul it 1 1/2 hrs to get serviced or repaired. From what I hear the dealer support is nothing to brag about anyway. |

Dave, no disrespect meant to the reputable dealers. The harley dealer in my town has some kinda deal with harley about another dealership not being in this area and he has no interest in dealing buells,he won't even talk about buells either. which sucks for him because I know several people who have bought buells recently who had to go out of area because of this, including myself. |
