Just wanted to let everyone know that Lakeshore HD/Buell is holding a Buell sportbike day on Oct 23rd from 12-3 Erik Buell and the Thunderbolts Band will be playing Shawn Higbee(Buell suspension and Pro racer) will be there too. The guy in charge of Buell there is a friend of mine, Ponytail Kevin. I will be deer hunting that day but if you are looking for something to do, head down there and check it out. Dave | ||

Hopefully it will have a better turnout then their Buell bike show that was held a few weeks ago. Dave , how long has Kevin been there? Reason I ask is Lakeshore has "sold" & I use that term loosely Buells for quite awhile now, but they never ever pushed em. You could walk in the place & sit on every buell there & not 1 salesman would ever lift a finger. But touch a HD with your index finger & they would be on you like rats on a bag of garbage. | ||

More data on the Lake Shore gig -- Saturday, 23 October Open from 9-5 Erik and the Thunderbolts playing from 13 - 3 Buell Factory's Head R&D and Testing Techs will be there for a suspension clinic (something we can all use, I'm thinkin), plus Shawn Higbee, who also know a thing or three about Buells Pocketbikers (12 or more) are showing up to make us laugh and demostrate small-scale fun $20 Dyno runs Torque shoot out Sport Bike show (with numerous classes including Rat Bike), all brands welcome There seems to be a change in the Buell weather at Lake Shore -- they've got parts in stock, more P&A than before, and I've heard very positive reports on their Buellish service, as well -- Kevin is aces, and enthusiastic about promoting Buells (which is why he was brought on board, I would imagine) | ||

I'm guessing it's cuz I told Kevin to let me know if I could help him in spreading the word to folks ;-} thought of you, actually, when I heard about the suspension gurus being there -- should be able to get some high class data from them (I've met them before, and they are extremely helpful and knowledgable) | ||
